Limited Edition 2010 Brabus E V12 Black Baron - Mother Mobster Mauls Mercedes

Brabus E V12 Black Baron

This fully-mutated Mercedes-Benz E-Class W 212 looks like it should be Batman's daily driver. Decked out in full black-on-black-in-black, with the ominous Gotham City backdrop, these initial images of the new Brabus E V12 "Black Baron" are about as sinister and menacing as we ever seen in the automotive realm. It order to outrun, outclass and outdo anyone standing in its way, "The Black Baron" is outfitted with 6.0-liter V12 biturbo that's bored out to 6.3-liters to produce 800 hp with 1420 Nm of torque (electronically limited to 1,100 Nm). Other tuning mods include a ram-air system, a quad-exhaust, a remapped ECU, a fully adjustable sports suspension, new stabilizers, a high performance braking system and black 19-inch alloy wheels.

Brabus E V12 Black Baron

The styling is definitely tough to get used with some funky wheel spats and some pretty far out side moldings. But when you have to do battle, it ain't always pretty. This revamped Mercedes-Benz E-Class gets a new front bumper and front quarter panels, massive side sills, and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. There is also a trunk-mounted spoiler that looks a bit out of place and about as effective as the wings you see on the back of Pontiac Aztecs.

Regardless about how you feel concerning the aesthetics of the car, the Brabus E V12 is an absolute beast. It can launch from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds, reaching 124 mph in 9.9 seconds and hitting 186 mph in just under 24 seconds. And it still has more room to boogie. Top speed is electronically limited to 217 mph. Sans limiter, Brabus estimates peg the nut at about 230 mph. And this thing still manages to get 15 miles per gallon.

Inside, the Brabus "The Black Baron" is outfitted with (you guessed it!) black leather upholstery with an Alcantara headliner and plenty of carbon fiber trim. As a constant reminder of just how bad-ass this car is, a 400 km/h (249 mph) speedometer stares back at you with the needle just sitting there taunting you. If this is the ride for you, the Brabus E V12 will only set you back €600,000 ($875,000 USD) without options. Only ten of these vehicles will be produced so if you are so inclined, you may want to act fast. Many other multimillionaire captains of industry by day, crime fighters by night, will definitely be having their "assistants" placing orders asap.
