Ultimate Factories: Lamborghini Murcielago Featured on National Geographic (VIDEO)

Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

Usually when you think of National Geographic, lions and tigers and bears come to mind. However, this band of amazing cinematographers and documentary film makers have turned their attention to the industrial complex and will be applying the same skilled approach that have made them a household word. Uncharacteristically, they will be covering Ultimate Factories throughout the world. Lucky for us, their first stop is the Lamborghini factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. This shop is responsible for building Lamborghini's fastest car ever.

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce sits as a king among kings on the supercar throne. This ultra exotic sprints from 0 to 62 mph in only 3.2 seconds, topping out at 212 miles per hour. Only 350 examples will be produced at a cost of $450,000 a pop. The SuperVeloce is built almost entirely by hand and we'll all have an amazing opportunity to see how the engine and body are manufactured, the panels are painted and everything gets assembled. A total of 2.7 custom-built vehicles come out of the factory each day.

Don't forget to tune in tomorrow night, October 1st, at 8pm ET/PT to see Ultimate Factories featuring the Lamborghini factory and their fabulous Murcielago LP670-4 SV.
