INDEN Design Ferrari F430 Spider - Dressed Nice But a Little Late to the Party

Over the last four years, we have seen some pretty extensive work done to further enhance the performance of the venerable Ferrari F430. It's hard to improve something that is already phenomenal but that hasn't stopped many from trying. Ferrari itself came out with 6 variations on this very platform and then you have tuners like Novitec-Rosso and HAMANN delivering some pretty outrageous upgrades as well. That said, I'm sure there is a market for those who want more than the factory offering but don't require anything flashy or extreme. Enter German tuner INDEN-Design who is offering a pretty tame and safe package for Ferrari F430 Spider. It's almost like a layup on an open basketball court.

The INDEN Design Ferrari F430 has a couple straight-forward performance enhancements which include revised engine mapping and a stainless steel sport exhaust system with both automatic and remote damper controls. This is enough to increase engine output 35 extra horsepower. The aero kit includes a modified front spoiler, side-flaps, a carbon-fiber rear diffuser and rear valance. An upgraded wheel and tire package is available that includes 20"x8.5" rims in front and 20"x12" in back, both wrapped in high-performance rubber. A sport spring set gives the F430 a lower ride height.

Inside, carbon-fiber paneling and upgraded leather is provided for added comfort and luxury. Original leather can be added to the dashboard, steering wheel along with the center console. Almost any color combination request can be satisfied. INDEN Design doesn't have a list price available yet for their Ferrari F430 package but any time you are tinkering with this supercar it ain't cheap. Overall, it's a nice offering that keeps things simple but still provides a little more flavor than stock.
