ENCO Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo Morphs the Porsche Cayenne Turbo

ENCO Exklusive Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo

ENCO Exklusive may not be as well known as some of their fellow German tuners but they certainly can't be dismissed for lack of creativity or ambition. Their latest offering, the ENCO Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo, based on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, is about as radical as we've seen for across-the-board SUV modifications with substantial engine tuning, bodywork, interior customization and styling revisions.

The heart of the new ENCO Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo is a supercharged V8 engine capable of 700 hp with 627 lb-ft of torque. Larger turbos, sport catalytic converters, an ENCO-designed sport exhaust system with manifolds and a variety of other tweaks account for the power gains. Amazingly, this allows this 5,000 pound SUV to rip from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

With acceleration speeds like this, the kinetic energy produced requires tremendous stopping power. Hence, this Porsche Cayennee Turbo variation is fitted with 16.1 inch disc brakes with 12-piston calipers up front and 14.9-inch disks with 4-piston calipers in the rear. This massive brake system sits behind 23" x 11" black and red ENCO Jura alloy rims wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires. Unfortunately, two-tone wheels are so 2003 (not to mention gaudy). I would have much preferred to see some understated matte-black deep-dish rims.

The exterior mods come by way of a complete aerodynamic kit which includes a new front apron with massive air intakes, a carbon fiber hood,  a roof spoiler with air flow openings, a rear apron diffuser apron with distinctive fins, side skirts, widened side panels and daytime running lights. All of these additions make the Porsche appear much more "muscular and broad." However, the two-tone Bugatti-like paint job seems to negate any possible argument for the aesthetic appeal of the new body contouring.

ENCO Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo

The interior of the ENCO Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo is outfitted with four carbon-fiber race seats pulled right out of the Porsche 911 GT3 and covered with black leather and Alcantara seating surfaces. They also feature red carbon fiber accents which is a theme found on the center console, door lining, steering wheel and parts of the dashboard. A bright red integrated roll-cage rounds out the racing-inspired interior cabin. I must admit, I really dig the inside of the Gladiator 700 GT. The Porsche 911 GT3 is an amazing vehicle and transporting its vibe to the Cayenne is a nice touch.

There is no price set on the ENCO Gladiator 700 GT Biturbo. However, the base Porsche Cayenne Turbo starts at $99,900 so the cost is most likely in the stratosphere. Obviously, this vehicle is pretty over-the-top, with ENCO Exklusive presenting what is possible rather than what is practical. There is no doubt that with some self-control this modification package could be a viable option.
