2009 Hennessey Nissan GT-R 0 to 60 mph in Less Than 3 Seconds (Check Out the Video!)

2009 Hennessey GT-R

Believe it or not, the 2009 Hennessey GTR puts the phenomenal Nissan GT-R SpecV back in the kiddie pool. That's what Hennessey Performance does. They create street legal vehicles that annihilate the underlying base models.  The new 2009 Hennessey GTR700 throws out 715 hp and 662 lb-ft of torque. Modifications take the form of expanded turbos with bigger compressor wheels, new ECU mapping, stainless steel exhaust system, cold air intake, high-flow fuel injectors as well as upgrades to the clutch and a transmission cooler among others.

All this customization to the Nissan GT-R results in a 0 to 60 mph sprint of only 2.9 seconds. The Hennessey GTR700 even performs 0 to 100 mph in just 6.5 seconds and hits the 150 mph mark at 14.5 seconds. It'll rip off a quarter-mile in 10.8 seconds at 130 mph. This monster actually cuts the time needed to reach 186 mph in half compared to the base GT-R. Just check out the video below:
