2011 Porsche 911 GT3 “Snowmobile” by Magnat
The Porsche 911 GT3 is a track-bred monster that begs to be pushed hard. But let’s just say you are someone that wants the bragging rights of owning a car like this but don’t want to lose out on the creature comforts of a daily driver. Enter German tuning company Magnat. They have just unveiled a program for the 911 GT3, dubbed “Snowmobile”, that looks to take Stuttgarts high-performance beast and tame it for the sensibilities of the average upper-crust Joe.
The exterior mods are kept to a minimum but provide the car with its nickname. A special white paint job with black striping running front to rear add to the stunning look of the Porsche 911 GT3. In addition, a custom wheel and tire package round out the aesthetic enhancements. Special OZ Ultraleggera HLT CT wheels measuring 19 x 8.5 up front and 19 x 12 in rear are wrapped in Yokohoma Advan Sport tires. The blacked-out rims go well with the overall motif.
The peformance mods are sourced from Wimmer Racing Technology. Their RS Step 3 package includes a modified exhaust system with sport catalysts and ECU tweaks, offering a power boost up to 462 hp and 451 Nm of torque with a max speed of 197 mph.
But it’s really on the inside where Magnat works their magic. The whole interior is enveloped in Alcantara leather and high gloss accents. A striking diamond pattern is woven into the seating surfaces and doors. Magnat has also re-envisioned the audio system by pumping in 2,100 watts of high fidelity through their Selection series speakers. The original speakers locations have been reworked to provide a concert hall-like sound stage. There is no word yet on the cost or availability of the Magnat Porsche 911 GT3, but we’ll let you know as soon as we know…
