2009 Nissan GT-R SpecV Full Details Released
So, here’s the deal. Lots of rumors, spy shots and speculations abound no more. Nissan has officially unveiled the limited edition NissanGT-R SpecV. So far, details of the Japanese version have only been made public but like all Americans (okay, maybe not all), we are hoping that it makes its way to the US as well.
The differences between the standard model and the GT-R SpecV are subtle but substantive. A carbon fiber front grille, rear spoiler and brake ducts along with titanium-coated exhaust, carbon-ceramic brakes, 20 inch NISMO wheels and a Black Opal paint job round out external upgrades. Inside, Recaro seats have been installed up front with those in the rear removed. Carbon fiber is laid on the instrument panel, majority of interior trim and panelng as well as the center storage bin.
Under the hood, a new high gear boost controller that forces more compressed oxygen into the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 provides greater torque at mid and high-range.Seven dealers in Japan have been preselected to begin selling the Nissan GT-R SpecV at 15,750,000 yen or north of $173,000 USD.
